UK MiFIR

The UK version of the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (600/2014), which is part of UK law from the end of the Brexit transition period by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018. UK MiFIR is retained EU law, which after the end of 2023 is known as assimilated law.
Together with the implementation of the MiFID II Directive (2014/65/EU), UK MiFIR forms the core legal framework governing the regulatory requirements applicable to investment firms, trading venues, data reporting service providers (DRSP) and third-country firms providing investment services or activities in the UK.
UK MiFIR will be revoked under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2023 (FSMA 2023).
