Commercial sale contracts: Notice to complete | Practical Law

A notice to be given where completion has not occurred on the contractual completion date. The notice makes time of the essence and requires the completion of the contract in accordance with Condition 9 of the Standard Commercial Property Conditions (Third Edition) or the Standard Commercial Property Conditions (Third Edition - 2018 Revision) (SCPC). The notice is suitable for use with most commercial sale contracts that incorporate the SCPC.

Note: The SCPC (Third Edition) were revised in March 2018 to update the definition of clearing bank in SCPC 1.1.1(c).
