May refer to the national electricity transmission system (see National electricity transmission system (NETS)), the company that owns the national electricity transmission system in England and Wales, National Grid Electricity Transmission plc (NGET), the company that is the system operator for the entire national electricity transmission system, National Grid Electricity System Operator (NGESO), or National Grid Gas plc (NGG), the former name of the owner and operator of the gas national transmission system (NTS).
