This standard document provides an outline for a statutory declaration to support an application to the Land Registry for registration of unregistered land where the original title deeds are lost or destroyed.

The Land Registry will accept a statement of truth instead of a statutory declaration. See Form ST3: Statement of truth in respect of an application for registration of land based upon lost or destroyed title deeds.
