In Scullion v Bank of Scotland plc (t/a Colleys) [2011] EWCA Civ 693 (17 June 2011), the Court of Appeal overturned the High Court decision that a valuer owed a duty of care to a buy-to-let purchaser.
Note added (7.12.11): The Supreme Court granted permission to appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal on 23 November 2011 (see UKSC 2011/0152).
Note added (23.10.14): The appeal to the Supreme Court was listed for April 2013, but was withdrawn.
