An overview of the legal framework for the protection of critical information infrastructure (CII) in China, including the definition of and identification mechanism for CII, the special obligations of CII operators (CIIOs), the regulators responsible for CII protection, and the legal liabilities of CIIOs for violations of CII regulations.
