Queensland has now joined the remainder of Australia’s Eastern Seaboard by giving effect to the National Cabinet Mandatory Code of Conduct (National Code) for landlords and tenants impacted by the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) through the Retail Shop Leases and Other Commercial Leases (COVID-19 Emergency Response) Regulation 2020 (Qld) (Regulations).
