A case study based on an application to the English court, under section 18 of the English Arbitration Act 1996, for an order appointing a sole arbitrator where the defendant has failed to co-operate in the appointment process. The case study consists of a claim form and witness statement, each with accompanying drafting notes, and a draft order.
