This is an overview of the regime governing advertising infringement in China. It discusses the main types of intellectual property right (IPR) infringement and unfair competition activities arising from commercial advertising. It also addresses the actions to be taken and remedies to be expected if one's IPR is infringed and gives advice on how to avoid infringing others' IPR or unfair competition in advertising.
