The rights and obligations of companies engaged in the electricity and downstream gas industry in Great Britain are governed by a collection of detailed codes and agreements known as the industry documents or industry codes. This note explains what they are and how to find them. It provides links to, and a brief description of, each code or agreement. The note also provides licence condition look-up charts for the industry documents. These charts identify which licence holders are required to comply with each industry document and the relevant standard licence condition number.
