A Practice Note providing an overview of proceedings conducted by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) that are ancillary or related to an investigation under Section 337 of the Tariff Act (19 U.S.C. § 1337). This Note introduces the ITC's pre-institution, sanctions, bond forfeiture and return, and post-termination remedy proceedings, including how to initiate and litigate these proceedings, and the process for administrative and judicial review. It also addresses other collateral proceedings that sometimes occur in connection with Section 337 litigation.
