A Practice Note describing loans up to $50,000 (Microloans) under a loan program from the US Small Business Administration (SBA) under Section 7(m) of the Small Business Act to help small businesses and certain not-for-profit childcare centers start up and expand. Microloans allow non-profit lenders who qualify to provide financing from funds received from the SBA to eligible small and start-up businesses on competitive terms in amounts up to $50,000.
