An overview of the Electronic Communications Code set out in the Digital Economy Act 2017 (DEA 2017) and the statutory rights the Code gives to telecommunications operators.

Note: Part 2 of the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure Act 2022 (PSTIA 2022) amends the Code. Although some sections of Part 2 are in force, a number of its provisions are still not yet in force. Its provisions are being brought into force in a piecemeal manner by regulations.
