First Circuit

District of Maine

The US District Court for the District of Maine posted a criminal practice update.

Second Circuit

Southern District of New York

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York amended Rule 13 of the Rules for the Division of Business Among District Court Judges in the Southern District, which governs the assignment of related cases. The previous version of these rules is available here.

Fifth Circuit

Eastern District of Texas

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas posted a general order regarding the intercircuit assignment of patent cases to Circuit Judge William C. Bryson of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
The Eastern District of Texas also posted instructions regarding appeals to the US Court of Appeals in a bankruptcy case.

Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi

The US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi posted a notice regarding the divisional realignment of the Southern District of Mississippi.
The local rules of the US District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi have been revised to reflect the divisional realignment. The previous version of the local rules is available here.

District of Hawaii

The US District Court for the District of Hawaii posted a note regarding pro hac vice applications. When an application is filed, a proposed order should also be sent be to the assigned judge's orders mailbox.
