We asked 4 Stone Buildings whether an attorney acting under a power of attorney can exercise the rights of a member in relation to a general meeting, in particular, the right to attend, speak and vote (where the attorney has not been appointed as a proxy) and the right to require the directors to call a meeting under section 303 of the Companies Act 2006.
