Future relationship agreements

The agreements negotiated between the UK and the EU during 2020, which applied on a provisional basis from the end of the transition period, and entered into force at 11.00 pm (UK time) on 30 April 2021:
The TCA is an association agreement, the security of classified information agreement is a supplementing agreement to the TCA, and further supplementing agreements may be added (Article 2) (see Practice note, UK-EU trade and co-operation agreement: institutional framework: Supplementing agreements to the trade and co-operation agreement).
Section 37(1) of the European Union (Future Relationship) Act 2020 defines a future relationship agreement to mean the following, as modified or supplemented from time to time:
