A revocable trust agreement (also referred to as a trust instrument or declaration of trust) for an individual, who is part of an unmarried couple is not a party to a civil union, and who resides in Illinois. This Standard Document provides for distribution of the trust assets at the settlor's death to a trust for the benefit of either the surviving partner alone or the surviving partner and the settlor's descendants.
