A Chart of deadlines for taking and appealing adverse actions against employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This Chart includes deadlines for responding to a notice of proposed action, initiating and responding to appeals filed with the Merit System Protection Board (MSPB), requesting and participating in hearings before an administrative judge, petitioning for review by the full Board, and petitioning for judicial review in federal court. This Chart addresses deadlines under federal law and applies only to VA employees.
