A Practice Note discussing the procedures and primary considerations for conducting a judicial foreclosure by ordinary process of a mortgage secured by residential real property in Louisiana. This Note also addresses appointing a keeper (known in other jurisdictions as a receiver) and deficiency judgments under Louisiana law.
