Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC)

An independent non-profit international arbitration centre that offers arbitration and mediation services. It is regarded by some as one of China's most progressive arbitral institutions. The BAC was set up in 1995 and funded by the Beijing government until 1998; it has been self-financed since then. The BAC is also known as the Beijing International Arbitration Center.
The BAC adopted its current set of rules from 1 April 2015 and is currently updating them (see BAC Arbitration Rules (2015)).
