Land use rights (土地使用权)
Land use rights refer to the rights to occupy, use, make profit from or dispose of the land by the land users. The land users obtain the land use rights from the land owner (either the state for state-owned land or the farmers' collectives for collectively-owned land).
Land use rights can be classified into:
- State-owned land use rights, including State-owned construction land use rights and State-owned agricultural land use rights.
- Collectively-owned land use rights, including collective construction land use rights, rural homestead land use rights, and collective agricultural land use rights (excluding the rural land contracted management right).
