The Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors (CEIOPS) has published on its website a revised Framework for Consultation on the whole of the Solvency II project. The European Commission prepared this document following a request for assistance from CEIOPS and it reflects detailed discussions with both the Insurance Committee (IC) and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Committee (EIOPC). The Framework sets out the policy principles and guidelines within which CEIOPS should develop its advice for the Solvency II project. It may be revised and updated further in the future, again after EIOPC consultation.
