Glossary

African Loan Market Association (ALMA).

A regional, non-profit trade association established in September 2011, dedicated to supporting and growing the syndicated loan market in Africa.
Since 1 January 2014, all activities carried out by ALMA have been integrated and absorbed into the structure of the Loan Market Association (LMA). As part of this process, a dedicated "Africa Group" has been established, consisting of a combination of existing ALMA board members who are members of the LMA, as well as other LMA members active in the African market.
For more information on ALMA, see its website (African Loan Market Association).
