FTSE

FTSE International Limited, trading as FTSE Russell, whose business is the creation and management of indexes and associated data services. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group plc. FTSE (said footsie) stands for the Financial Times Stock Exchange. It was created in 1984 by a joint venture between the Financial Times and London Stock Exchange (LSE).
