An overview of China's multi-level protection scheme (MLPS). It introduces the MLPS regulatory evolution and the cybersecurity classification scheme in China. The note discusses the general requirements applicable to all network operators and enhanced requirements for network operators classified level 3 or above. The Note also provides practical considerations on next steps for organisations who fall within the scope of the MLPS.
