A digital asset to which the US securities laws apply. A digital asset security may be any type of digital coin or token that represents an investment contract or equity interest under the Howey test (see Practice Note, SEC Regulation of Digital Assets: The Howey Test and the SEC's April 2019 Framework for Digital Asset Regulation).
