Related employer
For the purposes of enterprise bargaining under Part 2-4 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act), two or more employers that are either:
- Engaged in a joint venture or common enterprise ("enterprise" being defined under section 12 of the FW Act to mean "a business, activity, project or undertaking").
- Related bodies corporate within the meaning given by the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
- Carrying on similar business activities under the same franchise and are:
- franchisees of the same franchisor; or
- related bodies corporate of the same franchisor; or
- any combination of the above
