A checklist setting out the maximum statutory fines payable on conviction of a person for a summary offence as set out in section 37 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982.

This checklist has been updated to take account of the coming into force of section 85 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 on 12 March 2015 and the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (Fines on Summary Conviction) Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/664).
