Note: The Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA 2022) imposes a range of obligations and liabilities on parties involved in a construction project. For every higher-risk building, this includes introducing a "golden thread" of information and creating a "gateway" regime under the Building Act 1984. For all buildings, there are additional dutyholder obligations (with more onerous obligations in relation to higher-risk building work). At present, this standard document does not address these requirements. For more information, see Practice note, Building Safety Act 2022.
