A Practice Note addressing the treatment of student loans in bankruptcy and the standards for student loan discharge in bankruptcy. This Note details which student loans are excepted from discharge, the requirements for undue hardship discharge under both the Brunner and the totality of the circumstances tests, and partial student loan discharge.
