A Practice Note providing an overview of modern condominium law in Texas. This Note discusses general information about the Texas condominium statutes, some different types of condominiums in Texas, the current requirements for condominium formation, and the removal of a property from a condominium regime governed by the Texas Uniform Condominium Act (TUCA). This Note also discusses the interests of the developer (commonly the declarant), the unit owners, and the unit owners' association under the TUCA.
