Clearstream

An international central securities depository (or clearing system) in Luxembourg, which provides buyers and sellers of internationally-traded securities with a method of settling transactions in securities either free of or against payment in a wide range of currencies.
It is operated by Clearstream Banking, société anonyme, a division of Clearstream International Luxembourg, which is owned by Deutsche Börse Frankfurt.
Clearstream also provides custody services and stock lending or borrowing services within its systems.
