About Practical Law's RSS feeds.

What is RSS?

RSS is a format for delivering regularly changing and updating web content.
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". RSS web feeds are web pages, designed to be read by computers rather than people.
RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content, such as blog entries, news headlines and articles. You can get the latest headlines and titles in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from. It's quicker than revisiting a site several times a day to check for updates and, rather than having to look for new headlines, RSS readers scan for updates and display them for you.

How do I use RSS feeds?

Step 1.
You need a modern version of Microsoft Outlook (2007 onwards), a feed reader or news aggregator. Outlook can easily check feeds for you, but sometimes this feature is not enabled in a business environment. A feed reader or news aggregator is a separate piece of software that checks the RSS feeds frequently for new content and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser and some of which are downloadable applications, including tablet and smartphone apps.
Step 2.
Click on the links below or copy and paste into your feeds in Outlook, your feed reader or news aggregator.
Step 3.
Check that Outlook, your feed reader or news aggregator displays the latest updates. Repeat this process for any further feed.

Yes, all relevant information is above. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Unable to use HTTPS/SSL with your intranet/RSS reader?

Most browsers, RSS readers and intranets are able to support HTTPS/SSL certificates in the above feeds. However, if you are running an older system and having difficulties with the above feed URLs/certificates, then we do also offer the RSS feeds in http. Please simply amend the URLs above to use http:// instead of https:// and paste into your reader. Please note that your browser is likely to continue to redirect http to https unless you clear your browsing history and certificates.
