An overview of the regulatory framework governing personal information (PI) processing activities between PI processors and the parties processing PI on their behalves in China (namely, entrusted processing). It summarises the requirements over entrusted processing under the PI protection laws and regulations and national standards in China as well as some sector-specific rules, such as health and finance sectors. It also provides practical advice on complying with the requirements.
