Intestate

A reference to someone who has died without leaving a valid will or who has failed to dispose of their entire estate by will, for example, they "died intestate".
Also used as a noun, for example, "the intestate died on...".
An estate or that part of an estate not disposed of in a will (see partial intestacy), for example, "the intestate estate".
