A Checklist to help an attorney identify attorney conflicts of interest that may arise in a proposed client representation from an attorney's own (or their law firm colleagues') personal or financial interests, past work experience, current clients, former clients, or responsibilities to third parties (including other prospective clients). It also sets out the steps an attorney should take to ensure that they comply with applicable rules of professional conduct, and the potential consequences of having inadequate procedures to address conflicts of interest.
