The EU GDPR means the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) as it has effect in EU law (see section 3(10)(A) of the Data Protection Act 2018, as inserted by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 2 to the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/419)).
