Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA)
Governs federal, for-profit corporations formed, continued or amalgamated under this statute. This statute covers, among other things, laws relating to the incorporation of the corporation, its capacity and powers, management as well as matters relating to shareholders and various corporate transactions, such as amendments to the corporation's articles and by-laws, amalgamations, extraordinary sale of all assets, arrangements, continuances and dissolution.
