Defined in section 1.1 of National Instrument 81-106 — Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure as a mutual fund or a non-redeemable investment fund. There are similar definitions under other Applicable Securities Laws in Canada. In the province of British Columbia, it includes an Employee Venture Capital Corporation and a Venture Capital Corporation.
