FCA responds to IBA statement on intention to consult on cessation of USD LIBOR | Practical Law

ICE Benchmark Administration (IBA) has announced it will consult in early December 2020 on its intention to cease the publication of the one-week and two-month USD LIBOR settings immediately following the LIBOR publication on 31 December 2021, and the remaining USD LIBOR settings immediately following the LIBOR publication on 30 June 2023. The FCA has published a statement responding to IBA's announcement, as have the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA®).
