A Practice Note explaining the Florida Supreme Court's June 4, 2021, order, as amended on July 29, 2021, addressing Florida state court operations in response to the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. In particular, this Note addresses COVID-19 orders affecting state-wide practice generally, as well as procedural modifications affecting proceedings (for example, trials, hearings, mediations, and oral argument), health and safety protocols, the use of technology, and case management and resolution.
