Drafting policies and measures for radio and television management and ensuring their implementation.
Co-ordinating the development and promoting the reform of broadcasting.
Supervising, managing and reviewing the content and quality of radio, television and internet audio-visual programmes.
Managing the importation of radio and television programmes.
Facilitating the internationalisation of the radio and television industries.

The NRTA was established in April 2018 by taking over the functions of radio and television administration from the dismantled
State Administration of Press, Publications, Radio, Film and Television
