This note outlines and compares the key features of a selection of major international commercial arbitration rules, including institutional rules and the non-institutional (or ad hoc) UNCITRAL Rules. The institutions addressed include the HKIAC, ICC, ICDR, LCIA, SCC and SIAC. The general differences between those institutions are also considered.
