This note looks at the impact of the SRA Standards and Regulations 2019 (StaRs 2019) on issues commonly faced by lawyers in property transactions.
Since 25 November 2019, solicitors have been required to comply with the StaRs 2019. The SRA Handbook and Code of Conduct 2011 continues to apply to conduct between 6 October 2007 and 24 November 2019.
