The Prospectus Regulation Rules (PRR) replaced the Prospectus Rules as part of the FCA Handbook with effect from 21 July 2019. The PRR closely follow the format of the Prospectus Rules and reproduce provisions from the UK version of the Prospectus Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 and other legislation.

The PRR contain rules and guidance on the requirements to publish a prospectus, exemptions from those requirements, the approval process for prospectuses as well as the format and contents of prospectuses.
