A template to track a company's covered employees for purposes of complying with Internal Revenue Code Section 162(m)'s $1 million annual deduction limit for compensation paid to each of the covered employees. This template is downloadable in Excel and can be sorted by the name of the covered employee, the covered employee's position, the covered employee's compensation, the criteria under which the individual qualifies as a covered employee, whether the individual is a covered employee for all future years under the changes made to Section 162(m) by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and other relevant information.
