Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC)
An agency within the US Department of State that is one of the main US government agencies responsible for administering and enforcing US export control laws. DDTC's primary mission is to ensure commercial exports of defense articles and services advance US national security and foreign policy goals. DDTC's activities include:
Controlling the export, reexport, temporary import, and brokering of defense articles and defense services.
