In David Zylbersztajn and others v FRB-PAR Investimentos S/A, Special Appeal n. 1.102.460-RJ, the Brazilian Superior Court of Justice (STJ) ruled that the penalty application provided for in Article 475-J of the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure also applies to the enforcement of arbitral awards.
