Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) published its 2014 US Proxy Voting Summary Guidelines.
On December 19, 2013, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) published its Voting Summary Guidelines (which were further updated on January 13, 2014 and January 31, 2014), effective for stockholders' meetings on or after February 1, 2014. This release follows the November 2013 publication of the ISS 2014 Corporate Governance Policy Updates (see Legal Update, Institutional Shareholder Services Releases 2014 Proxy Voting Policies).
ISS also published 2014 summary proxy voting guidelines for Europe, Canada and other countries, as well as a new set of resources that summarize market trends, the regulatory environment and an overview of ISS's voting policy guidelines in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regions.
