The Urgent Issues Task Force (UITF) has issued its tenth 'Abstract' which considers what should be regarded as best practice in the disclosure of the terms of directors' share options. The UITF has received legal advice that the new disclosures suggested cannot be construed as being necessary to meet the legal requirements and consequently, while recommended by the UITF, they are not mandatory.
